Luxury denim label Cycle uses the past to recode the present in its latest collection of rebooted classics

Exhibitors Spotlight focuses on a selection of brands exhibiting at this year's Pitti Uomo, showcasing their upcoming collections and special upcoming projects.

Irrespective of seasonal evolution and volatile trends, denim endures an ageless, genderless, and timeless quintessential wardrobe staple — from the classic vest, jackets and jeans, denim items are as lasting as they are continuously relevant in the high-fashion carousel of streetwear and couture.
Italy is certainly no stranger to quality denim — as demonstrated by the luxury denim label Cycle. Founded in 2000, the “Made in Italy” brand has intelligently distinguished itself in an oversaturated market, building on a reputed practice of bold experimentation and unconventional design for statement garments made to strike any observer with ease and resolve. In each Cycle collection, skinny and slim-fit styles are designed to highlight the silhouette meet slouchier, more current cuts — all carefully crafted with meticulous attention given to every detail.
This season, the brand revisits the total denim look in a modern and sophisticated way, with a proposal that intercepts the demands of the contemporary denim aficionado.
Entirely produced in Italy in collaboration with selected artisans and renowned textile manufacturers and decisively subscribing to ethical production, the collection draws on Californian style for conceptual inspiration. It expressively reimagines a variety of iconic cuts and washes, including soft, wide and baggy fits, Western-style, faded and bleached denim.
Completing the label’s latest denim offer, a work/utility capsule produced entirely in cotton canvas reinterprets classic workwear in a smart-casual key offered in white, lavender, and biscuit hues.
Riffing on fashion’s most democratic statement piece, Cycle savvily uses the past to recode the present.
