Antartica is a technical outwear Brand specialized in the production of winter garments. The brand is inspired by the Antarctic expedition led by Amundsen, who first reached the geographic South Pole in 1911. Antartica transfers this inspiration in the city centers, natural habitat of those “metropolitan explorers” who live winter like an authentic life-style, discovering new and unusual urban profiles every day. Antartica works on the construction of the perfect parka, in order to take us in this daily adventure through wintertime city with its garments.
In accordance with its philosophy, the brand is committed to fight climate change, in particular through initiatives aimed at preserving winter by combating the melting of glaciers.
3D MISSION FOR SUSTAINABILITY
Replacing physical samples with 3D samples the company managed to digitalize 90% of prototyping in 2021.
"By adopting this approach, we have been able to reduce resources in terms of time, costs, energy and water scarcity. This way of working will allow us to iterate quickly on new styles, make stronger decisions and communicate better with our supply chain. The digital project aims to enhance the growth of our brand in a sustainable way."
