Founded in 2020 by Thomas, aka Kalflo, the french brand mixes high level craftsmanship with urban culture.
The designer has perfected his knowledge of the trade between Paris, Kettering and Cerreto Guidi. From bespoke making to the factory and the design studio, he understands the product inside out.
Aware of environmental issues, Thomas is committed to a responsible approach to sustainable fashion.
Passionate about shoes, and inspired as much by Paolo Sorrentino as by The Notorious B.I.G., the walls of Paris or Stupeflip, the 90s kid gives life to the shoes he always wanted to wear.
Sneakers, oxfords, boots, Thomas likes to mix styles and influences. He imagines shoes with strong and contrasting combinations, for an optimistic and offbeat vision of theshoe game.
The magic happens all in Tuscany, around Florence in Italy. From shoes to leather goods or packaging, everything is managed hand in hand with Marialisa, whose family has been in the trade for the past 80 years and who know the best craftsmen in the country.
The vast majority of our leathers are tanned without chrome, which means no metals in the manufacturing process, and obviously, it's cleaner. The goal is to go 100% metal-free within 2 years.
All the soles are in natural rubber, and believe us they are very durable!
We choose the hard-wearing Blake stitched sole to give your pair the greatest possible longevity. We don’t need to draw it out for you, a pair of Kalflo is made to last!
The last was initially carved by one of the very best. And we don’t regret it at all. The Kalflo-1 last is round and very balanced, a good reflection of our time. The joint is a little bit larger than the standard fit, which gives just about the right amount of space for a great comfort.
