Our brand was born in Italy's Marche region to revolutionize the world of sneakers by leveraging Tradition and Innovation.

THE ORIGINS
Comm. Aldo Botticelli, in 1950, transformed an 1800s grain warehouse into a factory and inaugurated the industrialization of Italian footwear. Sixty years later, in that same building, his grandsons Andrea, Giorgio, and Marco Vecchiola, carrying on the family tradition, founded FESSURA. In this cutting-edge Italian brand, fashion meets new technologies to offer high-performance, modern and sustainable products.

THE NAME
The name Fessura recounts the distinctive feature of the CHANGE® project, the 1999 sneaker from the through-holes in its sole, which later became the icon and inspiration of the Fessura world: an Italian term, for an Italian brand. Even its logo perfectly reflects both this concept and a deeper meaning. In fact, the brand, as through a "slit" (fessura), is constantly seeking change, a new world, rewriting the present with cutting-edge, mind-bending ideas. The aim is to create a union of design, novelty and technology, through advanced, innovative and patented products.

THE PROJECT
At FESSURA we do not simply design and make sneakers; we rethink how they are made. We never stop, believe in change, breathe change, and are ENERGY IN MOTION. We are the pioneers of environmentally sustainable shoes with the CHANGE® patent, sock shoes with the SOCKSHOES® patent, and mental and physical well-being shoes with the REFLEXSYSTEM® patent. We were the first brand to reduce Co2 emissions in footwear production, explore new materials and cutting-edge production processes, and launch products designed for wellness. With the goal always in mind, to offer stylish, high-performance sneakers and be constantly researching and evolving.

The TRAILFLEX®️ Vettore E15 (VTR-E15) is the new trail running shoe inspired by Monte Vettore, the highest peak in Monti Sibillini. This is not a random choice: FESSURA was born in the heart of the Marche region and is rooted in the territory. The desire to enhance it is inherent in the DNA of the brand, which aims to revolutionise the world of trainers by focusing on Innovation, but without ever forgetting the values of Tradition.

The model has a technical mesh upper with breathable properties, tape and reinforcements that guarantee comfort, mobility and an unprecedented fit: at Fessura, the dialogue between the worlds of technical and fashion is continuous and fruitful. 
In addition, VTR-E15 features both an EVA foam midsole REFLEXSYSTEM™️, composed of four pads that absorb and release energy simultaneously, and an anti-slip outsole EASYGRIP™️, with robust rubber cleats.
