My name is
Jacopo Malucchi.
Ours is not just a brand. It is a solid history of family traditions that has always been strongly connected to that of the territory, of which it has been knowingly ambassador and witness in the world for years.
Indeed, it is among the profiles of the Vinci hills, in the living heart of Tuscany, pulsating with art, culture, beauty and nature, that my family has proudly carried on for decades a legacy made up of passion for creativity, great manufacturing skills combined with skilful choice of high quality materials, being inspired by these unique landscapes in the world.
A legacy that today, with commitment, determination and humility, I have chosen to develop, so that it is even more an interpreter of our time and able to look to the future, in full respect of its founding values, in balance between roots and new opportunities.
Roots:
It was the 1930s when Libero, my grandfather, learned the art of craftsmanship in the workshop of a shoe factory. Hands that day after day, without stopping, know better and work leathers with dedication, to give shape to a comfortable creativity.
After the Second World War, together with his brother, Libero creates handcrafted footwear, sold with increasing success and positive feedback on the streets of Florence. My father Riccardo was born in the family leather goods business, attracted since he was a child by the art of leather working, so much so that he created his own toys with great inventiveness using the various waste from the production process.
In 1977 Riccardo founded the Malucchi company, dedicating himself to specific creations and articles for the world of our four-legged friends, who have always had a great love for him. Our business grows, articulates and creates connections and collaborations all over the world, creating a new market segment that responds to increasingly growing requests and needs, even from well-known personalities.
At the end of the nineties, Riccardo exhibited his first collection, "MALUCCHI MADE IN ITALY", at the Nuremberg International Fair, arousing clamor and interest. It's the exploit. In fact, for the first time the great Tuscan artisan tradition, of which he and my grandfather were tenacious expressions, becomes real comfortable art in the form of prestigious accessories for dogs of all sizes and types.
From that moment on, the Malucchi brand evolved exponentially, until it positioned itself among the first producers of world craftsmanship in the luxury market for the pet industry, meeting the attention and taste of a clientele increasingly attentive to quality of unique and distinctive creations.
Evolution and horizons:
With my entry, the Malucchi brand has passed to the third generation, which interprets the present era and what will be, enhancing our wealth of experience.
My declination of our activity goes in the direction of a production that combines excellence, identity, design and ethics in the choice of materials and in the attention to every aspect of the manufacturing processes of the articles, using communication codes and dynamics of development and functionality that put the In the center our dogs and the relationship we have with them.
In all of this I put my love for dogs and my daily experiences with them in every moment.
The perspective is to give a new identity to retail, which becomes a communicative medium that above all transmits our value system, the idea of an eco-sustainable world and a constant balance between quality and production processes, with the priority of making it extremely comfortable and functional the daily life of our dog in harmony with style, luxury and elegance.
Choosing our articles, every expression of the Malucchi brand, means becoming part of our universe of meaning, experience and values firmly rooted in Tuscany.
My commitment is to respond to ever new functional needs, expanding the range of items in the catalog - which currently includes collars, leashes and other accessories - and enriching it with kennels for pets and designer dog bowls, made with quality materials such as the marble.
The Malucchi brand is therefore a synthesis between the centuries-old know-how of the ancient Florentine artisans, family values, innovation and evolution to give excellence to our beloved pets.
