ESPADRILLES FROM THE POQ COLLECTION
We welcome the Spanish brand of Premuim ESPADRILLES,
MEDITERRANEAN STYLE 100% HANDMADE
Poq Collection, a young brand, 100% made in Spain, with a very deep-rooted shoe making tradition. It’s founder and creative director, Pastora Ortiz Quevedo, was born in Elda, Alicante. The director has been linked with the shoe industry for more than 30 years. She narrates the story of a familiy tradition and savoir-faire from her factory, where her iconic espadrilles have been born, which are basic to suite your closet.
The curiosity of its creator for art and design in every shape or form; and her passion forces her to stay updated in the evolution of the creative world around her. Therefore Pastora’s work is very traditional but at the same time avant-garde.
Pastora started Poq Collection as a personal project, due to the lack of talent and technique the whole jute shoe making sector was suffering. The brand has known how to fuse traditional crafts with an innovative vision, giving life to exquisite espadrilles crafted with selected material for that exclusive quality.
All her jute sandals are handcrafted and taken care to the smallest detail, with the best quality leather, amazing embroidery and a large variety of color, this makes espadrilles a very modern shoe season after season.
POQ Collection offers you a wide range of shoes and sandals made with jute, espadrilles for women, men and children. Made in Spain where design craftsmanship and innovation are all bonded together.
Espridelles made by POQ Collection are fully made by a team of 50 people that with all handcrafted develop a wide range of the most original designs.
Made with a beaded jute sole and an unique upper part for every model, with different finishing, coloring and material, inspired in different cities of the world, in art, music and literature.
A wide range of espadrilles with stories to listen and to transmit the generation after generation, a culture hidden in each stone and a dream that walks through all the citizens wearing them.
