Trench coats and outerwear with a classic taste, but modern spirit, where attention to detail becomes the protagonist of timeless garments
Don't follow the trend, make the trend, be the trend! L’Impermeabile is a Tuscan brand owned by Landi. Landi, a Tuscan entrepreneurial reality with a long tradition behind it dating back to 1948, returns to Pitti with its not-to-be-missed collections of classic and timeless garments, which are elegant and bold at the same time. Items that make the difference to those wearing them.
There is the short cape garment, Bud, inspired by the outerwear worn by horse drawn coach drivers. Made from waxed cotton, it has a non-uniform appearance and finish. Original and sophisticated is instead the Stanley in mustard color, together with the laborer-inspired blue camp jacket.
Dedicated to the ineluctable admirer of the past, is instead Vasco Dispatch, a long trench coat for a daring motorcyclist, with semi-gloss resin coated fabric.
Revamped are double check wool fabrics, which become the protagonists of outerwear details. In the tireless search for originals, the novelties come from the new detachable interiors of Nelson and Connie in wax cotton. However, the most extravagant of inventions is hidden in the Connie F’s Rain Palm fabric: the print is visible only under heavy rain showers, when the fabric reacts to the water; revealing a joyful triumph of flowering palms, impenetrable jungles, and luxuriant oases. If the daring print turns out to be excessively bold, you can always resort to the rigorous, genuine and elegant, unisex cape, with a Scottish Tartan lining.
