From New York to Paris, from London to Milan. And then Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, and Antwerp. These international fashion capitals were part of the roadshow to present Pitti Uomo 101 to the press during November. A packed calendar of presentations and press meetings attended by key players in the international media scene, to introduce the Pitti trade shows that will take place in Florence in January: the exhibition pathways, the special participations, projects and events that will animate the Fortezza da Basso and the whole city.

It had been two years since Pitti Immagine had organized in-person press conferences on the main fashion markets. And the feedback received was exciting in every respect.
For the press, exhibitors, and buyers, being in Florence is considered a priority. We have had confirmation of this. Pitti Uomo represents an essential appointment in the menswear sector, a beacon to illuminate trends and markets. Our international contacts have shown appreciation for our work, which has always continued even under challenging situations. From preparing extraordinary safety plans to the incoming programs supported by the ICE Agency, to the relationship of trust and support that has immediately distinguished our relationship with exhibitors. It is clear that the restart of international trade fairs is fundamental for business. Digital has been an excellent support in the emergency phase, but it remains a complementary tool, which cannot replace the physical experience.

— Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine

We were welcomed with great enthusiasm and warmth. We exchanged information and impressions. And we have had confirmation that Pitti Uomo embodies an enormous heritage of relationships and experiences, which the health emergency has not taken away. On the contrary, it made it even more valuable. There is a great desire to be in Florence, not only for business but also to experience that special atmosphere, discover, know, and talk. Finally, from the dialogue with the exhibitors, it emerged that participating in the show is a fundamental step in their work. It is the appointment that dictates the rhythm of the collections. In short, full of energy and inputs.
