The Italian Trade Agency for the third edition in partnership with the Pitti Tutoring & Consulting division shows the project YOUNG ITALIAN START UP AROUND THE WORLD in a special area on the Ground Floor of the Main Pavilion at the Fortezza da Basso focused on Made in Italy startups.

The 7 brands are: .0, Broz & Broz, C.9.3, Canaku, Geodi_Niccolò Pasqualetti, Manikomio Dsgn and Re49.

Here are their profiles:
.0
IG profile: @the_.0_

The mission of this Florentine startup is to create garments that can find a new life at the end of their use—starting with a shoe.
The .0 sneaker is made almost entirely from a single recycled and recyclable material (obtained from wood processing and paper industry waste). It can be returned to the brand that will use it to create other products. A green option and versatile style, with a contemporary design that also makes it suitable to play down more formal outfits.
BROZ & BROZ
IG profile: @brozandbroz

Eco-conscious swimsuits for men, inspired by the unique Maremma lifestyle and its natural wonders. All pieces are Made in Italy using 100% natural colors, tested to resist salty and chlorine water, applied at low temperature, obtaining the so-called "maltinto" effect. All details provide a unique sartorial touch, with a natural cotton ribbon, high-quality English stitching, an embroidered logo, personalized soft elastic borders, and the anti-saline rusting personalized finials.
The swimsuits are presented in completely recyclable and biodegradable packaging.

C.9.3
IG profile: @c.9.3official

C.9.3 was born from decades of experience in the fashion industry, handed down from father to son to create a product according to innovative stylistic visions and with an emphasis on research into fabrics and quality. Each seasonal collection tells a story through garments with crisp, vibrant colors and soft, clean lines. The SS22 shirt featured in the project focuses on the world of flowers and expresses the "mix and match" philoso-phy of fabrics that characterizes the brand, combining a workwear-inspired canvas with a Jacquard Gobelin.

CANAKU
IG profile: @canaku_

A men's clothing brand born from the refined and uncompromising aesthetics of Jurgen Çanaku, Albanian by birth and Italian by nature, with experiences as a buyer in fashion and clear ideas about contemporary male elegance. The collections are produced in Italy following the codified rules of classic Neapolitan tailoring but with a retro twist and defined details. The collection is centered on men's suit and formal outerwear and complemented by shirts, merino knitwear and cashmere wool compounds, obvious ac-cessories and a capsule collection of shoes with a strong imprint.

GEODI _ NICCOLO’ PASQUALETTI
IG profile: @niccolopasqualetti

Following his experience at The Row, Alighieri, and Loewe, GEOIDI is designer Niccolò Pasqualetti's gender-neutral approach to fine jewelry. It is an exercise in active simplicity, seeking to distill universal ideas into wearable pieces. Geoidi form a vocabulary of modular elements, able to be combined and integrated into everyday life. GEOIDI is a collaboration between the people and the environment of a small area of Tuscany. Working only with local artisans and close friends, it takes only what it needs — sometimes precious, sometimes humble materials.
MANIKOMIO DSGN
Ig profile: @manikomiodsgn

The idea for the style featured in the project gets its cue from an iconic military bag: the AVIATOR'S KIT BAG®, used during the Second World War by American paratroopers to store and transport the parachute. Manikomio Dsgn's reinterpretation keeps the original lines and shapes, designed in several materials and different sizes. Details and function-alities make it a transversal accessory of value. The brand's production is entirely made in Romagna - Italy, with great attention paid to the choice of materials, accessories, and details, always giving free rein to creativity.

RE49
IG profile: @re49_shoes/

RE49 produces footwear made through RECYCLE and UPCYCLE of materials destined for destruction, storage, or excess production. The brand was born from the historic Masolini 1949 artisanal shoe factory in Udine, where every RE49 shoe is still handmade. A cruelty-free company devoted to the circular economy and the constant search for materials to be regenerated. The iconic "Mare Lifestyle" model is a sneaker made with beach chairs and sun loungers of the beaches of the Veneto coast, with a recycled and regenerated tire sole and recycled sponge interior.
