Following their collaborative project last February, Rinascente and Pitti Immagine are back working together for “Pitti 100”, an exchange of views inside the Fortezza and in the city.

For this edition, scheduled from 30 June to 2 July, Pitti Immagine Uomo is getting ready to celebrate its 100th edition by focusing entirely on the most iconic of numbers: “Pitti 100” is in fact the motif of this edition. The graphic project with multiple versions is by Francesco Dondina, creator of many important projects in the worlds of fashion, design, art and culture. The final “I” in the name Pitti becomes a number “1”, while the two zeros in the number 100 unite, symbolising a world of fusion and contact as well as the two event formats (physical and digital), which are closely linked. More than a logo, this is a kit to assemble (according to taste) a logo with 100 different versions of zero.

Rinascente has always been committed to supporting local cultural activity, and to mark this event, the Store of Piazza della Repubblica celebrates Pitti Uomo 100 with RINASCENTE MEETS PITTI 100, an exclusive preview of SS 22 revealing the upcoming trends for next spring/summer seasons.
On the Store’s second floor, Rinascente brand partners – Alpha Tauri, Paul&Shark, Andrea Ventura, Doucal’s, Alea Camiceria, Giannetto Portofino, Gran Sasso, Altemflower, Bruno’s, Post&co, Sturlini, Roy Roger’s, People of Shibuya, Save the Duck, who are also appearing at Fortezza da Basso – present a preview of the SS22 collection and invite customers to participate in the creative process of product selection, which is usually reserved exclusively to industry experts.

This year, the show is back “in person” and at Fortezza da Basso, Rinascente presents RINASCENTE X PITTI 100, a communicative space that welcomes visitors in typical Rinascente style. The venue, equipped with giant screens, revives the concept of #beflorentine, an homage to Florence through all the people who live and export the city worldwide. It’s an invitation to grasp this city’s essence and become a part of it; to be Florentine, whether by birth or by passion, for a short time or forever.

This narrative continues on social media, a vital touchpoint in spreading the Pitti 100 atmosphere and discovering the world of Rinascente through the eyes of those who know, recount and live the Renaissance capital.
Thus, Rinascente – with its recently renovated Florentine store set right in the heart of the city – returns to the theme of excellence, craftsmanship and Made-in-Italy quality, against the splendid backdrop of Pitti Immagine’s summer shows.
