Here is the men's wardrobe for the coming summer season, selected by Icon from the exhibitor collections on Pitti Connect. Strategic and key items and iconic clothes that have gone down in menswear history, revamping is done under the lens of technological innovation. Outerwear is of nautical inspiration, plus technical DNA. Light down, biker, and field jackets along with vests. The panorama of outerwear extends its proposal through garments of greater sartorial orientation, blending techniques like ultrasonic sewing and heat-welded seams.

In the wardrobe, next to technical items, the must-have is a suit of sartorial rigor, a passe-partout from morning to evening. The choice falls on garments in natural jersey, lightweight jackets, unlined and deconstructed.

On the feet, ça va sans dire, sneakers, not just for free time, but also for the most business-oriented daily use. They have a minimal look, with the tones of suede and leather, contrasting leather inserts, elasticized laces, and colored rubber soles.

Moccasins feature buckles, Oxfords are refined in their tones and fit, uppers are the result of artisanal weavings that blend nabuk, linen, and cotton. At the same time, the chromatic palette proposes the shades of nature.
Tartan, the symbol of the Barbour brand since its foundation in 1894, is the protagonist of the brand’s Tartan collection.
It distinguishes a selection of outerwear and clothing that pays tribute to tradition, but in a contemporary key, like this raincoat from the SS21 collection with tartan detail hidden under the collar.
A new kind of wearability in the SS21 collection of Berwich: a comfortable rise, adjustable belt around the waist, and a straight and elegant pant leg, with even leg openings. Wool is piece-dyed, with a treatment geared towards the home washing of daily items, in a color palette that takes its inspiration from college atmospheres.
The polo shirts of Brooksfield are characterized by artisanal quality and hidden details where the real value of Made in Italy is recognizable. An essential item in a wardrobe that is updated every season with timeless clothes chosen for their versatility. For the coming summer, this extremely thin knit polo shirt is the perfect choice for a refined and “à la page” look.
Absolute Tech is the theme of the SS21 collection of Colmar Originals, which starts back up from its own iconic garments with a focus on functionality, Thus, also the sustainable pathway of the Monza-based brand begins, choosing high performance fabrics and finishing processes with a low environmental impact. Among the new models is this light down springtime jacket with breathable fleece inserts.
For the coming summer, the outerwear panorama of the Laminar collection by Herno extends its range to include proposals from the new knitwear dimension. Among the novelties is this hooded sweatshirt with Gore-Tex Infinium pockets, which can be zipped up using the waterproof-coated zip that identifies all Laminar items: a bona fide outerwear garment since its conception as a paper pattern.
The new L.B.M. 1911 collection is a journey across California, a territory of wonderful contrasts, which translates into a color palette that ranges from the deep tones of the ocean to the warm shades of the desert, between beige, sand, and clay. Among the must-have items for the coming summer, a series of lightweight suits, made using breathable fabrics exalted by 3D textures.
In the new jackets of Manuel Ritz, sporty details contaminate the formal DNA of the brand. Microfiber of natural origins guarantees comfort and practicality, fabrics in cotton and linen are dyed with pastel tones like pink, sky blue, and green, while glen check and regimental stripe patterns blend with camouflage and denim in what is a new dressing concept.
With the Spring Summer 2021 collection, Paul&Shark continues to work in favor of sustainability, through the use of responsible yarns, like organic cotton, ‘eco-wool’, and the most recent sustainable fiber, Econyl, which are used to create a series of regenerated nylon jackets. The result is responsible clothing that does not leave style and comfort behind.
A trend already seen on last season’s catwalks, with denim as the absolute protagonist of the summer. Better yet, if it is worn as a total look, as proposed by Re-Hash in its SS21 collection: jeans with the same fit as sartorial trousers, featuring a high waist and straight leg, matched with a dress shirt in the same indigo tone.
Strictly with short sleeves and animated by tropical patterns in bright colors. Shirts for the coming summer have a retro-styled vacation mindset, recalling those worn by Hollywood divas in the 50’s. Those of Xacus are perfect both for the city and at the poolside, especially when worn with a comfortable pair of trousers or swimming trunks.
In the latest collection of Doucal’s, formal classics like moccasins and buckles evolve, becoming increasingly lightweight, comfortable and functional. Soft leathers and a fold-up construction give shape to exquisite models that fit like a glove. Believe us, it will feel like you’re wearing nothing on your feet.
2021 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Jazz sneaker, the most iconic sneaker of the entire Saucony Originals collection. From the archives arrives a new version, the Jazz Court, where the Jazz upper is combined with a Court sole, in tribute to tennis. The strictly white classic model is joined by versions in suede and fabric featuring different chromatic combinations.
On vacation, moving around with ease is essential. For this reason, the travel trolleys of Piquadro combine Italian craftsmanship with special attention to design and functionality. Accompanying us for the coming summer are trolleys that are resistant, super-lightweight, and easily recognizable, thanks to their bright yellow, red, and green tone.
