Brand Profile
The iconic Husky Jacket was invented in 1965 by Steve Gulyas, a retired American aviator, and his wife Edna. Skilled in thermal outerwear, with a focus on hunting and fishing apparel, they began to produce the first pieces once they moved to Tostock in England. The name Husky comes from their dog's breed who was always together with the colonel Gulysa during his countryside walks.
The quilted nylon jackets became immediately one of the favourite outerwear pieces of the British Royals, wearing it as a sportswear item due to its wearability and resistant features.
A real must-have used by the Queen Elizabeth and the whole Royal Family during their horseback ridings, transforming the jacket with the corduroy collar into a recognisable symbol of the English Style.
