“From Tokyo, to the mountains to the sea, the aesthetic and performance of this collection is unlimited.”
Luxury Sportswear meets Coolness
For FW21 Paul&Shark presents a new, cutting-edge collection. Following previous collaborations with Greg Lauren and Nick Wooster, the brand has joined forces with Japan’s White Mountaineering, resulting in a bold set of pieces. Incorporating high-performance fabrics and an all-black aesthetic, the capsule features premium outerwear styles and graphic print underlayers.

With an edge of understated streetwear attitude, the sleek collection represents the root of White Mountaineering’s origins. Translating the meaning of ‘mountaineering’, articulating the brand's ideals - design, function, and technology, into versatile daily outfits. From graphic print sweatshirts to essential outerwear pieces, the collection features relaxed styles that make a statement via monochromatic prints and easy silhouettes.
Founded in 2006 by Japanese creative and Junya Watanabe protégé Yosuke Aizawa, White Mountaineering focuses on usability and technology geared towards the great outdoors. Aizawa now brings his innovative vision to Paul&Shark’s heritage, resulting in an elevated take on outdoor staples.

An essential outerwear piece, The Typhoon jacket, receives a considered update. Designed with detachable layers, the piece is composed of a mix of technical fabrics, including Primaloft, wool, and Typhoon 20000 - an innovative water and windproof treatment engineered exclusively by Paul&Shark.
Made for exceptional performance under all weather conditions, the ultra-thin membrane prevents water drops from penetrating the fabric. Through a revolutionary design process, every single square centimetre of the water-repellent fabric can withstand a 20-meter water column and very strong winds. The membrane is designed with a highly breathable structure that promotes air circulation and ensures breathability. A versatile signature piece, its technical prowess speaks volumes. Perfect for everyday city walks, the park, and extreme conditions, the jacket features detachable layers.

All the pieces within the collection are finished with White Mountaineering's unique aesthetic and trademark digi-prints logos, which feature across the jackets, vests, sweaters, and t-shirts.
