Brand Profile
Brixtol Textiles is a Swedish outerwear brand founded in 2011 by friends Gustav Kjellander and Emil Holmström. Rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and the raw climate of the North, the brand merges a clean, almost austere design language with references to British workwear and 60s subcultures.
Our philosophy is to design purposeful garments that feel familiar yet stripped of excess. Lines are sharp, volumes understated and details considered rather than decorative. There is a quiet sense of Nordic barriness in our work – a pared-back, honest attitude where nothing is added without reason. Colour palettes echo overcast skies, concrete harbours and worn landscape tones – dark olive, charcoal, deep navy and washed browns – creating a calm, tactile uniform for everyday life.
Responsibility is built into how we work: we favour durable fabrics such as organic waxed cottons from the UK and European wools, produced in carefully selected mills and factories. Each piece is made to be worn hard, aged beautifully and repaired rather than replaced.
Brixtol Textiles speaks to a unisex, urban-minded audience who value authenticity over logos, and function over trend. Our customer moves between city streets and coastal weather without changing their wardrobe, choosing outerwear that quietly reflects a Scandinavian way of seeing the world – honest, practical and a little bit harsh, marked by that subtle barriness, but always human.
