The story of Paul & Joe traces back to "Le Garage," the shirtmaking company founded by Sophie’s parents in Rouen. After earning a degree in economics and management, Sophie spent seven years working in the family business, handling every aspect—from purchasing and sales to production launches and supplier negotiations. This hands-on experience shaped her entrepreneurial spirit.
When her mother had to leave the company due to health issues and her father refused to let her take over, Sophie decided to create her own brand. Paul & Joe was born, inspired by the values instilled by her mother: respect, quality, and passion. These values remain central to the brand and are reflected in the loyal team that has been by her side since the beginning.
