Premiata is back to the Fortezza da Basso, the venue where the great success with the sneakers line has begun, to launch its first clothing collection made up with the so-called ‘made in Italy’ pieces of a genderless soul.
That is a decision which is encouraged by the new generation of the Mazza family, the historical owner of the brand. Vincenzo, together with his sister Carlotta, represent the fifth generation of Premiata. Thanks to them, we celebrate a new chapter in the company’s story. Graziano Mazza, the founder, entrepreneur, creative leader, and design expert share with conviction this evolution. He is a reference point in the industry for several entrepreneur of luxury goods, who are still collaborating with him to develop their footwear and accessory collections.
Vincenzo Mazza summarizes the key points of the collections as follows: "I thought about the wardrobe of a person who I would call a metropolitan warrior, who needs multifunctional, structured and versatile garments, for an all-day long use. All the outerwear, from the jacket to the parka, passing through the field jacket, are garments conceived in a genderless key".
Among used materials, nylon and organic cotton are treated to become water repellent, washed with a comfortable touch. Pieces in Sensitive will be introduced with elastic and technical features also combined with high-quality puffer jackets, and several pieces are in cotton/polyamide, heat- welded with waterproof features. The collection and production are totally produced in Italy. To be dealing with the collection is one of the best manufacturers in our country, La Rocca, which has been accompanying international brands and brands in the premium and luxury clothing segment for many years.
Distribution will immediately be international, with a focus on Italy, Russia and Europe, without neglecting the Far East, specifically Korea and Japan, countries where the brand already has a prominent position and consolidated awareness. No need to mention the US market, where the brand has recently started a virtuous distribution path. The collection and its values will be presented with a thematic Pop Up during the next edition of Pitti within the new Futuro Maschile on the top floor of the Central Pavilion.
