Denim meets design at G-Star RAW’s return to Pitti Immagine Uomo in January 2024. Visitors can experience their FW24 collection surrounded by a spectacular backdrop: the 13-meter long private jet created from their own denim waste.

The collection offers a bridge between classic workwear aesthetics and cutting-edge denim design. Additionally, the concept of cocooning is embraced in sophisticated styles redefining comfort. Utilizing innovative denim technology and fabric blends to create a soft feel without compromising on the durability and authenticity of denim.

At Padiglione delle Ghiaie, inside the Fortezza,  the G-Star pavilion the life-sized private jet takes the main stage, designed by artist Maarten Baas and made from recycled denim. Baas, one of the most influential creative minds of the twenty-first century, created the denim plane for G-Star last year. It was considered one of the highlights during Milan Design Week 2023. In Florence the iconic airplane makes its return to the public.
It’s great to be back in Florence at the pinnacle of menswear fashion to show what the future of denim looks like. The world of art has always inspired our craftmanship and approach to denim while respecting people and planet.
