During Pitti Uomo 105, the institute's students will be guided by renowned photographer Maurizio Galimberti in creating three artistic installations for the Cartier boutique windows in Via Strozzi, Florence.
The installations will incorporate recycled materials from previous displays provided by Pardgroup, a historic Italian company known for its global retail design and shop fitting services for luxury brands. This project is part of the sustainability-oriented initiative Dis-Cycling's second chapter, following a successful first edition featuring artist Sarah Coleman and Fendi.
The creative process draws inspiration from three iconic accessories of the brand, linking the students' installations with Galimberti's photo mosaics. Galimberti, an artist who transformed the use of instant film and made Polaroid his trademark, will be the project's mentor, working closely with students from Multimedia Art, Arts Curating, and Fashion Styling courses.
