It is back in 1881 that Antonio Cerruti founded his mill in the Piedmontese city of Biella, world famous for the extraordinary softness of the wools.
Two generations later, it is the exceptional suppleness of the wools that will inspire the creative thinking of Nino Cerruti.

He first imposes it on urban clothing, by creating his French fashion house, in 1967, then quite naturally invests the world of sports, creating right in 1980 the CERRUTI 1881 SPORT line.
Today, the Cerrutism philosophy that captures a moving society, spreads from fabrics, ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, to perfumes, jewelry, watches, leathergoods, shoes and bags... all such territories that allow men and women to adopt a casual chic lifestyle and magnify their intimate elegance.
