Born in Milan in 1971, classical high school and architect since 1998, Mariavera Chiari has been passionate about archeology and working with her hands since she was a child. She has always used ceramics as the material chosen to express herself, natural, shiny, colourful, clean, which transforms as if by magic.
In 2002, after a few years at the studio of architect Cino Zucchi, he opened his own studio in Alzaia Naviglio Grande 156 in Milan, where he created, together with his brother Carlo, his entirely hand-made collection of ceramics. This is how his brand MV% CERAMICS DESIGN was born. 

From the ESPRESSO coffee cup with spoon – his first creation – to the MENU plates dedicated to Italian cuisine, from the clouds to hang on the wall to the animals up to the colorful vegetables: objects that seek essentiality and purity of form, always with a playful touch and childish, where the "stamped" words act as the only decoration and the color expresses an almost primitive idea of ​​happiness.
