Brand Profile

Romina Cardillo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She grew up in the bosom of a successful textile family . Cardillo studied Fashion Design at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), In 2002, she started working at her family business. In 2007, she launched her first menswear project called “grupo 134” which was the first vegan brand in Argentina. With Grupo 134, Romina became a referent of sustainable fashion. In 2014, Romina decided to begin a new brand: Nous Etudions. Nous is not only a fashion brand, it is a clear statement of a new generation. Sustainability, genderless clothing and veganism are part of the key messagge that Cardillo delivers in each product. Nous Etudions designs are defined by textile developments, monochromes,, austerity and oversized silhouettes. In 2017 she was chosen as a New Talent by Sara Maino while, at the same time, YOOX recognized her as `The Next Green Talent’. In 2018, she presented a new collection at London Fashion Week’s ‘Fashion Scout: ones to watch’. Last year, she created a capsule collection for Nike and now in 2020 she have been shortlisted for the LVMH prize.
