Brand Profile
Demon represents a unique case study in the recovery of Italian footwear archives. Founded in 1963 in Montebelluna by Girolamo Deon, the brand stood out for decades as a reference point in the production of technical and work footwear, before ceasing production in the early 2000s.
After a period of inactivity spanning nearly twenty years, 2020 marked the turning point. Alberto Deon, the founder's grandson, took the helm of the company, implementing a deep restructuring. The objective was not merely to reissue historical models, but to evolve the family know-how into a contemporary design project that unites footwear architecture with modern visual culture.
On the occasion of Pitti Uomo (January 2026), Demon formalizes its new corporate and creative structure. Today, the brand is organized around three core pillars that define the identity of every product, divided into three distinct lines:
HERITAGE
The collection that recovers the original shapes and workmanship of the Deon archive. Here, the focus is on manufacturing fidelity: vegetable-tanned Italian leathers, traditional constructions, and details faithful to Girolamo’s original drawings. It represents the historical continuity of the brand, where the construction quality of Montebelluna remains unaltered.
PERFORMANCE
Technical evolution. This line responds to functional needs through the use of advanced materials. Vibram soles, protective membranes, and technical fabrics are integrated into silhouettes that maintain the brand’s rigorous aesthetic while offering superior performance in terms of durability, waterproofing, and comfort.
EXPRESSION
The research laboratory. This is the section where Alberto Deon’s creative direction experiments with new languages. Unprecedented volumes, surface treatments, and chromatic experiments transform the shoe into a design object. It is the synthesis between outdoor aesthetics and avant-garde fashion codes.
Demon arrives in Florence with a clear vision: to respect the origins of 1963 through modern management, positioning the company within the international landscape of high-end footwear.
