WUD is an Italian functional footwear brand inspired by the vision of creating high-quality, durable and comfortable products, for every-day use.

The design of our mules, slides and sandals is rooted in a combination of sustainable and circular innovation with traditional craftsmanship, tailored to contemporary style and characterized by clean silhouettes with meticulous attention to detail. 

The brand, founded in 2022, represents a new development of Falca Srl, a 60-year-old shoe factory located in the rural countryside of northern Italy, alongside the Veneto footwear district, in continuum with its long-term mission: preserving artisanal expertise and combining it with contemporary relevance. 

At WUD, environmental and social consciousness are paramount throughout the design, sourcing, manufacturing and finishing steps. In a constant effort to contribute to a more ethical and sustainable footwear industry.

Our mules, slides and sandals are consciously designed and manufactured: our master shoemakers assemble flexible-wooden soles – made of sustainable, ethically-sourced beech wood with repurposed rubber – together with an upper of regenerated suede and bio-based material made using pomace, a waste product of the winemaking process.
