Buyers Select:
Dean Cook
Edition 100
Buyers Select focuses on key buyers, who share their favorite pieces from Pitti Connect brands.

Prior to a successful professional reconversion into the fashion industry at age 20, British-born fashion buyer Dean Cook had already begun a career as a professional footballer. After rapidly climbing the high-end retail ladder, notably as a head sales manager at Versace and Jil Sander, Cook joined iconic London luxury store Browns in July 2015, where he currently serves as a menswear buying manager. We caught up with the established buyer at this year’s 100th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo. Check out our on-site interview below.
Here below Dean's selects.

This piece is so timeless, and I really like the update in the nylon fabric.

This jacket is an all-weather essential and something most men keep coming back to season after season.

Although I was wearing shorts at Pitti, I saw a lot of people wearing relaxed tailored separates. This Kiton looks like they fit so well, are comfortable and yet still look professional.

A printed shirt is a summer wardrobe essential, worn buttoned up or more casually open with a vest underneath, and this Kiton piece has one of the more versatile floral prints.

I’ve selected these Kiton shorts as they’re a great alternative to wearing a full suit in the summer time.

Although running sneakers, these are also great for those busy days when you’re out and about as they’re functional yet don’t look too technical.

Bucket hats have become very popular over recent seasons. I really like this bucket hat from CP Company x Patta – the perfect accessory to complement your outfit.
