The  idea  originated  during  a  short  trip  in  2012.  Inspired  by  the multitude  of  vibrant  colors  they  have  encountered  on  the journey, a  vision  for  making  the  world  a  more  colourful place through  everyday  accessories  was  born.   Since  it’s  origin  in  2013  the  creators  of  DillySocks  have  pursued this  vision,  and  consistently  created  unique  pieces  for  unique individuals  ever  since! Be  colorful  and  conscious Our  environment  is  our  inspiration.  That  is  why  we  have  made  it our  mission  to  make  the  world  not  only  more  colorful  but  also more  sustainable  with  our  DillySocks.  How  do  we  do  it?  By making  our  socks  out  of  organic  cotton  and  dyeing  the  yarns without  any  toxins.  This  is  what  the  Oeko-Tex®  100  Standard Certificate  for  our  DillySocks  stands  for.   But  our  claim  to  sustainability  goes  beyond  the  socks:  Our packaging  as  well  as  our  hangers  are  biodegradable.  To  close the  cycle,  we  have  the  Pigna  Foundation,  which  works  with people  with  disabilities,  sewing  cuddly  sock  monkeys  from  our remaining  stock.  These  are  resold  without  profit  for  a  good cause.   Thus,  every  pair  of  DillySocks  is  a  statement  for  a  more  colorful, fair,  and  ecological  world!
