Péro Introduces a Lucid Take on Traditional Checks and Patterns
Exhibitors Spotlight focuses on a selection of brands exhibiting at this year's Pitti Uomo, showcasing their upcoming collections and special upcoming projects.
Inspired by the organic attire of local people, Péro was founded by textile and fashion graduate Aneeth Arora. Its FW21 collection is an eclectic mix of tartans and patchwork textiles from the brand’s archives. Incorporating a playful direction, immersive 3D rag dolls are incorporated into the garments. Developed in collaboration with Delhi-based illustrator Richard Gomes, 10 imaginary ragdoll characters feature throughout the collection. A nod to the exploratory spirit of being on the road, collecting objects and memories of people and places.
