INTRODUCTION TO MOLEBO


Molebo is a specialized unisex belt brand. Founded in Tommerup, Denmark, in 2024 by a family of belt makers and leather artisans with three generations of expertise in belt craftsmanship.

Every Molebo belt is crafted responsibly and local in Tommerup, Denmark, in our own production facility. Always handmade by a skilled team of belt makers. Only fine raw materials sourced from top-tier Italian hardware suppliers and, among others, LVMH Métiers D’Art-owned Italian tanneries are used for the collection. All leather is gold or silver certified by Leather Working Group.

For the 2025 season a capsule collection of belts crafted from 100% traceable Danish leather developed in collaboration with SPOOR will be introduced.

The design philosophy of Molebo is timeless yet with a contemporary and playful flair that captures the cultural zeitgeist. This approach is reflected in the brand aesthetic that blends classic leather belts with Western references and bold, statement-making designs.

The Molebo debut collection was launched in May 2024 in exclusive collaboration with the renowned Danish concept stores Storm Copenhagen and Dr. Adams, Denmark. 

Later in 2024 the first collection launched in collaboration with a curated selection of the world’s finest concept stores and retailers like 10 Corso Como Seoul, Goodhood, Asphaltgold,  Vallgatan 12 and more.

Collection 2 will be showcased in Florence, Paris, Copenhagen and New York during January and February 2025

HISTORY & FACTS
The belt factory Bosswik was founded by Morten Levorsen in 1989, following years of experience working at his parents’ belt company. Today, Morten’s son Anders continues the family legacy in collaboration with his farther, marking three generations of belt makers in the company. At the belt factory we have a team of leather artisans with up to 20 years of experience in making high quality belts. The production facility includes more than 120 specialized machines for belt production.
