Bruce Pask knows his audience. With previous editorial posts at publications such as GQ and The New York Times Style Magazine, Pask’s Emmy recognised costume design and styling work have struck a chord with those in the know. As director of menswear at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, Pask receives admiration for both his style and aesthetic.
A fan of classic staples such as chore jackets and wide-leg chino’s, Pask opened the B. concept store in 2019. Located within Bergdorf Goodman NY, the shop-within-a-shop plays home to essential pieces, exclusive collaborations and new designers. Dedicated entirely to Pask’s curated brands, the concession is a subtle oasis of considered exclusivity. With pieces selected to fit seamlessly into the modern man’s wardrobe, Pask’s choices make quiet noise via the occasional print or patchwork detail. The self-proclaimed ‘cultural omnivore’ devours fashion, food and the arts, creating a unique viewpoint of the fashion landscape.
With a career spanning twenty years, the style enthusiast breaks down his personal top 10 Pitti Connect items.

Pitti Connect Picks:

Altea
I love this look: the ombréd textural linen camp shirt layered over the soft blue tee and paired with the relaxed navy full cut short. This is summer!
Nanushka
Great to see this brand making its debut at Pitti Connect in the very well-curated Sustainable Style section. I really like these fluid floral printed pants, especially nice when paired with their vegan leather overshirt.
Varsity Headwear
I really appreciate the detailing and attention to design here, and imagine that this raw blue denim baseball cap will fade and age nicely over time, making it a real personal piece.

I’ve never met a chore coat I didn’t love. This whole look to me is so refreshing. The pale olive chore jacket style represents well this utilitarian feeling we are seeing throughout the menswear world for spring. Pairing it with the relaxed fit faded denim jean and creme espadrille style slip-on creates a great, relaxed but polished look - perfect for WFH, the casual workplace, or weekend.
Valstar
I have long been a fan of the classic Valstarino bomber-style jacket, but I am drawn to this new jacket suede jacket style, a blend of an outerwear piece and a sport jacket. These hybrid pieces with multi-use possibilities are great and our customer will really appreciate their inherent value.
Harris Wharf London
These jackets are perfect for these times: unconstructed, lightweight, durable, relaxed but still polished, versatile. The Coolmax seersucker jacket can be as casual or as dressed up as you want it to be, and it’s breathability is perfect for the spring and summer temperatures.
Baracuta
A classic jacket that has been cleverly updated with colour blocking in these utilitarian shades of olive... I’m liking so much.
Drumohr
Knitwear is always a highlight at Pitti, with so much to choose from, a wide array of skilled artisans and designers from all over the world. This richly textured knit shawl neck cardigan is a great piece. Like a few of my other choices, this is a great option for the casual workplace as well as the weekend.
Il Borgo Cashmere
I’m always impressed by the knitting skills of the artisans at Il Borgo and their ability to mix materials like leather and suede with cashmere. This zip cardigan is such a beautiful, singular piece that really highlights this special brand signature.
Mandelli
Mandelli is an Italian brand know for their supple, soft suedes and leathers. This suede overshirt is a great piece that I am sure feels incredibly luxurious and will become a customer’s favourite piece.
