Brand Profile
Founded in Pennsylvania in 1830, Woolrich is one of America’s oldest outdoor brands. From supplying fabrics and blankets during the Civil War to creating iconic garments such as the Arctic Parka — originally developed in 1972 for workers on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline — Woolrich has played a defining role in shaping American outerwear. Today, the brand is distributed globally through an established retail network.
Since December 2025, Woolrich has been owned by BasicNet for the management and development of the brand across the European market. BasicNet S.p.A. is the parent company of the BasicNet Group, which owns the brands Kappa®, Robe di Kappa®, K-Way®, Superga®, Briko®, Jesus® Jeans, Sebago®, Woolrich®, and Sundek® — leading names in apparel, footwear, and accessories.
