The California imagery and the graphics of Kentaro Yoshida
Sundek makes its Pitti Uomo debut following the recent acquisition by Turin-based group BasicNet. The brand, born in 1958 along the California coastline, will present the Spring Summer 2027 collection. The line develops through relaxed volumes, soft fabrics, and a creative vision that looks to the brand's history, drawing on elements from the 1960s. What emerges is an authentic imagery that draws inspiration not only from surf culture, but from the broader visual and cultural world of California.

The men's and women's selections move between sun-bleached tones and naturally worn-in pieces, as if faded by the sun and marked by the salt air. Alongside new takes on the iconic boardshort, presented in desaturated color variants inspired by the beaches captured in Leroy Grannis's photography, are lightweight shirts, frayed t-shirts, skirts, bags, and accessories.

Alongside the Goldenwave label, the Original line will also be presented, celebrating Sundek's most recognizable identity by placing at its center the piece that gave the brand its origins: the Rainbow boardshort. Offered in a wide color palette, it reaffirms its iconic status, with color as the defining element and heart of the collection.

Among the new arrivals, Sundek also presents a collaboration with Japanese illustrator Kentaro Yoshida: his graphics and characters come to life on boardshorts, sweatshirts, and t-shirts, available for both adults and children, in an imagery that celebrates surf and beach culture with a vibrant, playful twist.
