This January, Potato Head brings WASTED to Pitti Uomo – a collection created in collaboration with designer Max Lamb to explore the possibilities of transforming waste and sustainable materials into new, functional products.
Each piece in the WASTED collection is crafted in Indonesia, made by hand, and guided by the specific waste materials available at the time, ensuring that every item is unique. Local artisans and craftspeople have been key collaborators, working closely with Max to shape a collection that respects their skills while embracing conscious design.
WASTED aims to address the global waste problem in meaningful ways. Starting in Bali with waste sourced exclusively from Indonesia, the hope is to build a network of like-minded partners worldwide who are ready to adapt our designs to their own local materials, using waste from their regions for future collections.
