At Pitti Uomo 104, the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) will be accompanying 47 UK brands. And the UK will be yet again the largest international group after the host country at the event. UKFT is being supported in its work by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).
Many top brands are renewing their participation: Elizabeth Parker with accessories, Hardy & Parsons' shirts, Invertère and its raincoats, John Smedley's knitwear, Johnstons of Elgin and its cashmere, Peregrine's manufacture, Tateossian's cufflinks, and The Cambridge Satchel Company's signature bags.
And again, names like Bluebuck, Carl Friedrik, Fox Umbrellas, Kangol, Leathersmith London, Only the Blind, Rapport London, RH45, and Walker Slater.
Twelve footwear brands will be part of the group including Crockett & Jones, Edward Green, Cheaney, Loake’s, Tricker’s, Barker England and Denson Shoes. Additionally, Sanders & Sanders will be celebrating their 150th anniversary at the show.
New British exhibitors will join Pitti Uomo this season, including Abtany, Charles Tyrwhitt, Elliker, Gusari, Heron's Ghyll and Hikerdelic. Sunspel will also be returning.
The UK leads the way in ethical, sustainable and traceable supply chains. Three UK brands exhibiting at Pitti Uomo are officially signed up to the UN’s Race to Zero campaign – John Smedley, Johnstons of Elgin, and Peregrine – working towards zero carbon recovery. UKFT looks forward to meeting buyers and press wishing to connect with UK exhibitors and businesses on its traditional industry stand supported by DBT and the GREAT campaign in Salone M, on the lower floor of the central pavilion where it will show a video of UK menswear brands. This will include quality British textiles being used by heritage brands in the UK and around the world including Harris Tweed Hebrides upholstery.
