Fay presents the special project "Fay Archive" marking a return to its origins and distinctive workwear DNA.

Fay debuts at the Fortezza Da Basso for its first appearance at Pitti Uomo, setting up in the Polveriera area. The location will dramatically transform, thanks to a concept developed in collaboration with Andrea Caputo and his architecture and interior design studio.

The Fay brand originated from an idea by Diego and Andrea Della Valle. In 1987, in Scituate, Massachusetts, the brothers acquired a company specializing in technical jackets used by American firefighters, later importing them to Italy. In the early '90s, the iconic "4 Ganci" model became a must-have, favored by celebrities and business leaders. Thus, Fay introduced one of the first workwear-derived pieces to be worn over formal attire.

In 2019, Fay Archive was born, a project that revisits the brand's DNA and its roots in workwear. Seeking workers ready to field-test the jackets' performance, in 2020, Fay Archive launched the TESTERS initiative. In a series of documentaries shot in the most remote corners of the planet, from Alaska to the Himalayas, men and women share their personal experiences, all living in harsh, wild nature.
