REIGN is a brand that narrates the reimagined African culture through Eastern and Western influences. Behind it are the names of two young designers, Sipho Mbuto and Ben Nozo, whose collaboration began in 2015 when they first met at Durban University of Technology, South Africa. Both in the first year of Fashion Design & Textiles, they start collaborating and sharing ideas and opinions.

After graduation, they founded REIGN. «Since then we have continued to explore various aesthetics and to dedicate our work to the fashion industry» they say. «We have always enjoyed attending art galleries, fashion shows and events. We continue to study to deepen our knowledge and to pass it on to those around us».

REIGN is one of the five African brands chosen for the Ethical Fashion Initiative
Accelerator Programme, and will be the protagonist of a special project during Pitti Immagine Uomo 99, in January 2021.
