Brand Creative Director Lee Wood speaks on the upcoming collection:
“As this collection was born from the desire to create a contemporary remix of the brands strong visual heritage, it felt only natural to present the collection on diverse models, both past and present, to interpret the brands rich and valuable story.”
As a graduate of Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Dirk Bikkembergs’ menswear designs guide the aesthetic of the brand. A seamless mix of classic and sporty, his signature expressions remain present in the FW 21 collection.
Key detail notes include classic 1.8cm top-stitching in a series of Cavalry wool twill pieces. These garments are complemented by formal yet relaxed styles, such as a single-breasted jacket constructed from Punto Milano fabric. Workwear influenced details are presented via overdyed gabardine shirts and characteristic color-washed denim.
An important part of the brand's heritage, knitwear is featured through rich wool blends, finished with color-blocking and masculine ribbing. Completing the theme of reworking, sports and outerwear styles are updated with contrasting techniques, textures, and styles, including down jackets with camo-print designs.
