OUR STORY
“To make the best riding boots in the world,”
was our founder Mauro Sani’s goal in 1974. Fifty years and three generations later, he’s achieved
much more. Buttero was named for the Tuscan cowboys who roamed the hills of our region, and,
like them, we have Maremma in our blood. With every step–whether in the city or the
countryside, whether in Italy or worldwide–Buttero brings the values of this community to life.
