Started by three brothers John , William and Thomas, the Loake family business has been making traditional shoes since 1880. Today over 140 years later, the association with fine handmade footwear lives on. 

The Goodyear Welted construction for which we are renowned is an intricate process with each pair taking up to eight weeks to complete. We estimate that over 50 million pairs of Loake Goodyear welted shoes and boots have been produced since we began. 

We still believe that there is no finer way to make a gentleman’s shoe and only the very best materials and highest level of skills are used.
