The idea for Orlebar Brown began on holiday. At a friend’s birthday in Rajasthan in 2005, Adam Brown was turned away from lunch for wearing wet swim shorts. He didn’t need a better swimsuit — he needed a short you could swim in. The idea for OB was born.
We launched in 2007 with one style, in four lengths and five colours. That original OB Classic — based on a traditional tailored trouser — remains our best-seller. Made with over 60 components, 100% recycled material, and signature side-fasteners, it’s a short that’s built to last. So much so, it comes with a 5-Year Guarantee.
