Brand Profile
Rajesh Pratap Singh grew up in Jaipur and is now based in Delhi, in his atelier that works with craft clusters across India. Founded in 1997, the label draws subtly from its Indian roots to create artisanal garments defined by clean lines, careful detailing, and international silhouettes. His experiments with textile weaves span the spectrum from Ikat weaves, handloom indigos, chanderi, to Benares weaves. The clothes have a unique global appeal yet remain passionately Indian.
Rajesh trained with Marzotto in Italy before returning to found the label. That formation — European precision meeting Indian craft — is visible in everything he makes. His Ajrak prints on linen and handloom Ikat weaves are held permanently in the archives of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and were featured in the V&A's Fabrics of India exhibition. His menswear was subsequently selected for Fashioning Masculinities — the V&A's landmark survey of menswear across five centuries. He has shown at Paris Fashion Week, participated in Pitti Uomo and Tranoi, and was the first Indian designer invited by Vogue Italia to present at the Milano Unica in Florence. Most recently, the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, wore a bespoke RPS bandhgala on India's Republic Day 2026.
Rajesh's reserve reflects in his styling – modern and traditional in equal measure, understated in its aesthetic. His designs have always transcended the passage of time; that longevity is itself his philosophy on sustainability.
Made for those who value craft over excess and clothing that endures — purposefully, and without compromise.
