Brand Profile
Valsport brand was born in 1920 from an idea of Antonio Valle who, as an eighteen years old from Padua, started a company of footwear and sports equipment. Valle combined artisan attention to detail with technical research: in a few years, his vision turned the brand into one of the most important producers of sports footwear in Italy.
In a short time, the brand managed to make the history of Italian sports equipment in the world. Valsport is indissolubly linked to some of the most unforgettable moments of Italian sport, in particular soccer, but also boxing, formula one, athletics and many others. Valsport shoes were worn by the great soccer champions of the Sixties and Seventies and the brand became the official sponsor of top teams such as Juventus.
In the following decades Valsport started competing with word’s top sport shoes players and the Valle family decided to sell part of the company. This change of direction marks its departure from the sports world and its progressive approach to the world of fashion.
In 2016 Valsport is taken over by the Padua company Rewind Srl. Rewind involves Guido Valle in the operation and decides to start from Valsport’s iconic models such as the Tournament (Valsport’s great classic), the Olimpia and the Davis (the classic “tennis shoe”).
Besides, brand new models were added to the proposal, designed in a modern key but made with that same attention to quality and detail. Craftsmanship and all-Italian manufacture never changed. Valsport shoes in a short time found more and more space in retailers all over the country.
Today, Valsport is an affirmed fashion brand with an important past and a future in the making.
Every year new models become part of the Valsport family. While maintaining the refinement that has distinguished it in the past, today the company also focuses on material’s technological innovation and new design.
Our past is a point of strength, in fact the classics that have made the history of the brand are sill the most appreciated.
Valsport production is still entrusted to small Italian artisan laboratories.
The materials used are exclusively made in Italy: a strength of today’s company as well as that of the past. Besides there’s the aim to reach an audience that’s always younger and more demanding in terms of quality and design.
