Welcoming the Pitti Uomo 110 community will be the imposing installation located in the Central Courtyard of the Fortezza, designed by Philéo Landowski in collaboration with the Lebanese artist Pascal Hachem.
Rather than a literal interpretation of the summer show theme  - THE POOL - the project focuses on the “behind the scenes” of a swimming pool, on what is usually unseen: its infrastructure and its technical elements. The result is a monumental construction site: a dense network of oversized pipes, enlarged to a sculptural scale that visitors will be able to walk through and explore. The aim of the work is to reveal and encourage reflection on what lies beneath the surface of a simple moment of leisure while remaining invisible to our eyes: not only the materiality of infrastructure, but also labor.
About

Philéo Landowski

Philéo Landowski (b. 2002) is a Paris-designer whose practice moves fluidly between product design, installation, and spatial intervention. Founder of the brand PHILEO, Landowski interprets footwear as a medium, exploring, balance, ergonomics, and the persistence of form of motion. His design language considers objects not merely as functional elements, but as evolving structures shaped by use, gravity, and time. Alongside his work as a designer, Landowski develops and curates artistic installations that extend his research into spatial contexts. Examples include Avalanche by Tadashi Kawamata at Dover Street Market Paris and Ancient/New Site with Marc Leschelier at Pitti Uomo.

Pascal Hachem

Pascal Hachem (b. 1979) creates work based on the displacement of real actions, performed either by the artist himself or by objects he sets in motion. The Lebanese artist draws inspiration from aspects of everyday life, which shape his way of thinking and inevitably influence his work. Hachem imposes no rules upon himself, when creating, he is guided solely by the force of the present moment. As a result, his body of work is diverse and spans the use of different tools, including his body as well as everyday elements and forms.
