Exhibitors Spotlight focuses on a selection of brands exhibiting at this year's Pitti Uomo, showcasing their upcoming collections and special upcoming projects.

Founded in 1923, Colmar started out producing practical work clothes with ultra-resistant fibers. After the second world war, the brand switched to producing technical ski suits, which soon gained a reputation for their aerodynamic properties. Decades later, the brand reimagined itself as Colmar Originals, which coincided with its move to modern, fashion-orientated releases.

For FW 21 Colmar has developed a strong outerwear collection with simple lines and a wide variety of fabrics. Designed with a color palette that plays on fresh tones of petrol green and burgundy, the collection offers up soft velour pieces recalling classic tweeds and short sleeveless jackets with embossed detailing.
Incorporating technical and sporty styles, the pieces use the same materials as scuba diver suits and jackets. Made with thoughtful practicality, the waterproof pieces feature a polyurethane membrane.

Taking sustainability on board, Colmar introduces an eco-friendly range. Produced using recycled materials, the pieces reduce the brand's environmental impact. The fabrics used are obtained from yarns made from biodegradable nylon, a composition that contributes to a more eco-friendly disposal of clothes.
