Brand Profile
The launch of 40WEFT in the mid-1990s marked the culmination of a period of growth that strengthened both the company’s international presence and the technical expertise of its manufacturing facilities.
We work closely with our factories around the world, striving to create the finest garments in the most sustainable way possible, so that they can become timeless pieces.
We live and work according to three core values: creativity, quality, and pride in creating products that stand the test of time.
The brand name is inspired by the compactness and durability of the twisted cotton gabardine fabric known as “Super Libertador,” first developed in Colombia in 1981.
The number 40 refers to the forty weft threads that run through the warp.
