SCAGLIONE is a brand by Maglificio Scaglione, an authentic Italian family business: small, creative and rooted in tradition and impeccable craftmanship. The company was founded in the late 1960s by Renato Scaglione and his wife Celsa. He is a young art lover, from Turin joins his older brother in Milan to sell knitting machines in rural Lombardy, where he knows his future wife nearby Bergamo. At this point the passion for art and beauty finds a concrete outlet and Renato and Celsa, strong in theirs enthusiasm, creativity and technical knowledge, decided to found Maglificio Scaglione in 1966. Now it is managed by Giovanni and Anna, children of Renato and Celsa. Following their parents passion for creativity, they produce SCAGLIONE, a beautifully crafted contemporary ready to wear collection and an ever evolving study of innovation, materials and techniques.
