Cozier Than Your Average, MC2 Saint Barth’s Playful Take on Knitwear

Exhibitors Spotlight focuses on a selection of brands exhibiting at this year's Pitti Uomo, showcasing their upcoming collections and special upcoming projects.

Founded in 2003 by Max Ferrari and Raffaele Noris, Italy's MC2 Saint Barth is a modern take on holiday-wear. Embodying the bright and bold lifestyle of life on the Caribbean island of St.Barth, the brand produces relaxed pieces readymade for everyday wear. After repeated trips to the Caribbean island of St.Barth, the two young entrepreneurs incorporated the island's vibrant atmosphere, creating a new beachwear collection.
With an initial debut based on colorful swimwear with iconic touches, the brand prides itself on pieces that can be worn by the whole family. Its irreverent and tongue-in-cheek prints soon struck a chord with its audience.
MC2 Saint Barth returns with a playful selection of cozy knitwear pieces. With nods to 80s iconography, the brand embodies a touch of irony with text and nostalgic graphics. Bold pieces incorporate unexpected design choices, including paisley bandana patterns, alongside sweaters featuring the iconic comic-book character Snoopy.
With nods to collegiate designs, vintage ski-lodge chic, and playful designs, the brand's latest collection is a bold take on classic knitwear ideologies.
